Working as a holiday representative on your gap year is a great way to work your way around the world and earn some money while you’re at it! Club reps are responsible for the enjoyment of holiday makers, ensuring they have a comfortable stay by providing outstanding customer service. Working as a holiday representative can be a tough job but it’s also loads of fun.

There a few different types of holiday representatives such as customer service, family, children's and club reps. Typical work for each of these different types of holiday representatives can differ but generally it will include escorting guests to their accommodation, selling and organising excursions, dealing with client questions directly, acting as a guide to the local area and more. Those who wish to work as a holiday representative in a kid’s club must also have a police check, however this is usually organised by the company hiring you.
